What is a high-rise building design?

High rise or high-rise building is a tall building requiring mechanical transportation like elevators. Skyscraper is among the tallest building high-rise. In 1880, the first highest building was built in the United States. Their demands come more from the urban areas, where the land price is too high. Therefore, the building is built one over another, i.e., vertically rather than horizontally.

High-rise building design made it possible to use steel structural frames and glass exterior sheathing. These buildings have become architectural landscape features. They are built in such a way as to support the heaviest load. They include concrete piers, piles, or caissons in the ground. It is to be made to keep the wind and earthquake scenarios in mind. The curtain wall is used for high–rise buildings.
